Warranty & Installation
In North America, a 25 year warranty is valid when Karelia wood flooring has been installed for residential use and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Important: check that you have the installation instructions with your flooring. If the wood flooring is to be installed on top of radiant heating, please request different installation instructions from your retailer. Should you discover any faulty pieces, do not install them - we will exchange them free of charge.

Karelia reserves the right to rectify faulty flooring or to have it rectified by a third party, or to have them exchanged. If the flooring is to be exchanged, the manufacturer has the right to determine the manner in which the flooring is to be returned. The cost of the repair will be refunded only if the matter has been agreed beforehand. The refund will only cover floor covering materials and installation. No incidental expenses are covered. Please refer to the Karelia warranty found in the company brochures. Defects caused by faulty installation are not included in this warranty.
Wear Layer Warranty
Karelia will warrant the durability of the manufacturer's surface treatment for a minimum of 25 years assuming normal use, wear and tear. The warranty is conditional upon the product being installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, in the warranty certificate.
Structural Lifetime Warranty Karelia will warrant the durability of the structure for the Life of the Product if the product has been installed in residential areas and in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance instructions mentioned above.
Light Commercial Warranty
Ask your sales contact for a light commercial warranty should you be installing Karelia flooring in a Hotel, Restaurant, Office, or equivalent premise. This warranty will be written by the manufacturer specifically for this project bearing in mind the location, traffic intensity and type of usage.
